Jack's Talent can be a jumpstart to boosting a child's self esteem. Discuss: Every child has a talent. Discuss how a talent can be anything they are good at... hopping on one foot, spelling long words, building towers with legos etc. Print "What's Your Talent?" (Activity sheet 2). Let the child draw or write about their talent. Talent Show: Celebrate each child’s individual talent by hosting a “Talent” Show. Give each child a few minutes to display their talent. Teach the children to rejoice in each other’s talents by having them compliment each other after the "performance". Everyone is a winner. Hand out "I Have Talent" awards to everyone. (Activity Sheet 3)
